You kind of get these moments in life where you realise how precious life is and how vulnerable a human body can be. I for one, often forget how lucky many of us are without any major defects in our body. I'm glad to hear that the hole in your sister's heart isn't life threatening and that she can still lead a fulfilling life (but of course with care). I'm sure you'll be there to tell her to take it easy when she puts herself under stress :).
